Chapter - 6

Days passed...

Time kept moving, and little Raman was growing up before everyone's eyes.

Soon, five years had passed since his birth.

In those five years, the Bhardvaj family had grown too.

Dikshit got married to Madhu, and not long after, they welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the family.

They named him Ekant.

The haveli once again filled with the sounds of a newborn baby, laughter, celebrations, and blessings.

And then, after some time...

Savitri was pregnant again.

Her second pregnancy brought a different kind of excitement to the Bhardvaj family.

Months later, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

Savitri was overjoyed.

After having her son Raman, she had finally received the daughter she had always wished for.

She held her little girl close, tears of happiness filling her eyes.

The entire Bhardvaj haveli was filled with happiness once again.

Aama was overjoyed to have a granddaughter.

Raghuvir couldn't stop smiling.

Dikshit and Madhu were excited to welcome another little member into the family.

And five-year-old Raman...

He had officially become a big brother.

Raghuvir entered the room again, his face falling the moment he looked at Savitri.

He slowly walked toward her, his eyes fixed on her tired face.

"Savitri..."

His voice was unusually quiet.

He sat beside her and gently held her hand, worry clearly written all over his face.

Raghuvir looked at her for a moment, then sighed softly.

"Kitni ziddi hai tu..."

He gently tightened his hold on her hand, his eyes still filled with concern.

Savitri gave him a small smile.

"ziddi toh hoon... par aapki hi toh hoon."

Raghuvir looked at her, his expression softening.

"Bas isi baat ka fayda uthati hai tu."

Savitri let out a quiet laugh.

"Achha ji? Aur aap kya kam hain?"

Raghuvir shook his head, unable to hide his smile.

"Tu kabhi nahi sudhregi."

Savitri smiled at him, gently resting her head against his shoulder.

Savitri looked toward her little daughter, her eyes filling with happiness.

"Hamri betiya bahut sundar hai ji..."

She smiled proudly, gently brushing her fingers over the baby's tiny cheek.

Raghuvir looked at their little daughter and smiled softly.

"Haan... bahut sundar hai."

He gently touched the baby's tiny hand.

"Bilkul apni Amma pe gayi hai."

Savitri immediately looked at him.

"Achha ji? Ab yaad aayi aapko hamri tareef?"

Raghuvir chuckled.

"Arey, teri tareef toh main roz karta hoon... bas tu sunti kahaan hai?"

Savitri smiled, looking back at her daughter.

"Hamri gudiya..."

Raghuvir's smile grew as he looked at both of them.

"Ab toh hamri haveli mein ek aur rani aa gayi."

Meanwhile, outside the room...

Raman was standing near the doorway, desperately trying to get inside.

"N-nahi, nahi! Mujhe Maa ke paas jaana hai. Kaka, jaane do na..."

Dikshit held him back, trying not to laugh.

"Arey Raman, abhi andar nahi ja sakte."

Raman turned toward Aama with pleading eyes.

"Dadi Maa... bolo na Kaka ko!"

Then he looked at Madhu.

"Chhoti Maa... aap bolo na!"

He looked completely determined to reach his mother—and, of course, meet his new little sister.

Aama looked at Raman's impatient little face and tried to hide her smile.

"Arey, mera laal... thoda sabar kar. Teri Maa abhi soyi hui hai."

Raman immediately shook his head.

"Par mujhe Maa ke paas jaana hai!"

Dikshit laughed softly.

"Dekha, Aama? Isko apni chhoti behen se zyada apni Maa ki padi hai."

Raman frowned.

"Mujhe apni behen ko bhi dekhna hai!"

Madhu smiled and bent down to his level.

"Achha baba, itni jaldi kya hai? Thoda ruk jao. Phir sabse pehle tum hi apni chhoti behen ko dekhna."

Raman's eyes immediately lit up.

"Sachhi?"

Madhu nodded.

"Haan, bilkul."

Raman folded his little arms and stood there, waiting impatiently.

"Thik hai... par zyada der nahi!"

Everyone burst into laughter at Raman's impatient little expression.

Aama shook her head, smiling.

"Arey, dekho toh... kitna bechain ho raha hai apni chhoti behen se milne ke liye!"

Dikshit laughed.

"Bilkul apne Baba pe gaya hai!"

Madhu smiled, while Raman simply stood there with his little arms folded, waiting impatiently.

"Haso mat! Mujhe sach mein Maa ke paas jaana hai!"

Dikshit immediately looked at Madhu.

"Arey, bhabhi..maa! ko bhaiya dard me nhi dekh sakte."

Madhu laughed.

"ha... ye to mene bhi dekha ,lekin Sach toh bol rahi hoon.  Bhaishabh ko dekha mene Jab Bhabhi Maa ki delivery ho rahi thi, tab toh sabse zyada bechain wahi the."

Aama chuckled.

"Haan re... tera bhai toh aadhi raat ko poori haveli sar pe utha liya tha."

Raman, who was still standing there impatiently, suddenly asked,

"Baba bhi itne bechain the?"

Everyone laughed again.

Dikshit grinned.

"Bilkul! Tere jaise hi."

Raman's little face brightened.

"Toh main bhi Baba jaisa hoon!"

"Bahut zyada," Madhu teased.

Raman proudly puffed out his little chest.

"Achha!"

Without saying another word, Raman suddenly rushed toward the room.

"AAMAAA...!"

He ran inside, eager to see his mother and his new little sister.

Everyone outside burst into laughter again at his excitement.

Raman rushed into the room and stopped near the bed.

"Maa...!"

Savitri looked up at him, her tired face immediately lighting up with a smile.

"Arey, mera laal..."

Raman quickly came closer and carefully climbed onto the side of the bed.

"Maa, aap thik ho na?"

Savitri gently touched his cheek.

"Haan beta... Maa bilkul thik hai."

Raman then looked toward the tiny bundle resting beside her.

His eyes widened with curiosity.

"Ye...?"

Savitri smiled.

"Tumhari chhoti behen hai."

Raman stared at the baby for a moment, completely fascinated.

Raman gently placed his little hand on Savitri's belly and looked at her with wide, curious eyes.

"Aama... ye bahar kaise aa gayi?"

He then looked at the tiny baby beside her, completely puzzled.

"Aur ye itni chhoti kaise hai?"

Savitri couldn't help but smile at his innocent questions.

"Arey mera bachcha..."

Savitri smiled and gently pulled Raman closer to her.

"Arey mera bachcha... jab baccha Maa ke pet mein hota hai na, toh woh dheere-dheere bada hota hai."

Raman listened carefully, his eyes still fixed on the tiny baby.

"Par Maa... Raman jab paida hua tha, tab bhi itna hi chhota tha?"

Savitri smiled.

"Haan, bilkul."

Raman's eyes widened.

"Main bhi?!"

Savitri laughed softly.

"Haan, tu bhi."

Raman looked at his little sister again, then very carefully reached out his finger toward her tiny hand.

"Ye toh bahut chhoti hai..."

He looked up at Savitri.

"Main iska bada bhai hoon na?"

savitri smile seeing his son.

"ha baba tu iska bada bhai hai ."

Raman suddenly looked toward Raghuvir, his little face turning serious.

"Baba... jao. Main aapse baat nahi karta!"

Raghuvir blinked in surprise.

"Arey, kyun?"

Raman crossed his little arms.

"Aapne mujhe andar kyun nahi le kar aaye?"

Raghuvir looked at him for a moment before letting out a small laugh.

"Achhaaa... toh ye baat hai!"

Raghuvir smiled and walked closer to his little son.

"Arey baba... andar kaise le aata? Daai Maa ne mana kiya tha na."

Raman still looked annoyed.

"Par mujhe Maa se milna tha!"

Raghuvir crouched down in front of him.

"Achha baba, meri galti. Ab toh aa gaya na tu apni Maa ke paas?"

Raman turned his face away dramatically.

"Hmph... pehle mana kiya tha."

Savitri laughed softly at her son's expression.

"Arey, mere laal ko kisne itna gussa dila diya?"

Raman immediately pointed at Raghuvir.

"Baba ne!"

Raghuvir shook his head, laughing.

"Achha ji... ab sab dosh mera hi hain!"

Savitri smiled and pulled Raman closer, planting a soft kiss on his cheek.

"Mera laal..."

Raman's little pout immediately disappeared.

He leaned into his mother's arms, finally smiling.
